This kit is used on newer electronically controlled engines that do not use wastegates. The kit is for vacuum and electronic VNT turbocharged engines. The barbed fitting is designed to be inserted from inside a steel or aluminium boost pipe and seals up in the hole. Drill a 6mm (1/4") hole with a twist drill or preferably a step drill. Clean the burrs and fit the part. The barb will accept most small pilot boost tubes from 3-5mm (1/8 - 3/16).
It includes a bend-to-fit mounting bracket for the sensor (Top left image) and a dis-connectable fitting for easy tube removal.Â
DIY ?
Installation is not difficult, however some basic tools and skills are needed. Take a look at our Videos and Docs, if you understand them, You should have no problems.
Install it for me please...
Sometimes you just can't manage to do everything, even if you can. We don't have any official installers in the USA yet, however, take the kit to your favourite repair place and ask them. We will be very happy to help them with the install, maybe they even become installers !
